Cash's first day of pre-school was today. He was shy when we first walked in and headed straight for the trains and cars, but the teacher said he opened up a little and played with the other kids.

Yesterday we went to Kartchner Caverns down in Benson area. We were shocked by how nice the place was and also how well it was taken care of. I wish we could have taken pictures,but no cameras are allowed. It was about an hour and 20 min. tour so we decided to head to Tombstone for lunch. It was a little hot out, but luckily there were rain clouds and a nice breeze. By the end my face was melting and excited to be back home in the nice air-conditioned house.

Random music I'm listening to today, Florence and the Machine:
Grandpa Rick is in town and Cash is so happy. This week we are also going school supply shopping for his preschool that starts next Tuesday. I love that Cash is going to go and meet friends and learn new things. Here's a list of some stuff he is in to at 3 1/2.
-Monster trucks
-Singing Social Distortion and Johnny Cash songs
-Practicing to write his alphabet
-Swimming by himself(with floaties of course)
-Telling me that he is devastated.....
-Orange Soda(He calls it "Spicy Orange Soda") I've been trying to never give him soda, but I finally gave in and will let him have a couple sips...(bad mommie)

LONG WEEKEND O'FUN:
Our 4th of July weekend was an average relaxing weekend. We stayed in Tucson and just hung out with some friends. My friend Gary and I took Cash and Bianca(Gary's sister) swimming then to Mama's pizza(yummy). On Saturday we met up with my friends Colin and Jessie and their two adorable boys to watch fireworks. While their boys were sitting there watching like angels, Cash was dancing around like he was at a rave! We had a great weekend and very excited for Grandpa Rick to come in town tonight. Cash and Bianca after a fun time swimming.

Happy 4th of July weekend!


Hope everyone is safe and has fun. I'm not sure what Cash and I are doing yet, but I'm sure it'll be fun.

BROWNIES AND MILK FOR THE DOGGIE:


My son likes to think he is a dog sometimes( a lot) and this time he asked me to make a plate with a brownie and a bowl of milk for fyte(im guessing his doggie name?). So I did. The second picture kinda looks like something else, but trust me it's a brownie!
